Maialen dedicó dos años al cuidado y educación de nuestra hija pequeña y estábamos encantados con su apoyo. Trabajó con nuestra hija en un ambiente trilingüe, español, inglés y alemán. Tenía un amplio programa de actividades con ella, hacían mucho deporte, salían de excursión, trabajaban el desarrollo de habilidades motoras y lingüísticas y practicaban música, todo un lujo. Además Maialen es una persona a la que se le puede dar total confianza, es dedicada y respetuosa, nos encantaría seguir contando con su trabajo pero lamentablemente no compartimos país de residencia. Maialen ha cuidado de nuestro hijo de menos de 2 años después de recogerle de la guardería por las tardes. Además de darte la tranquilidad de saber que tu/s hijx/s están en las mejores manos, planifica diferentes actividades para el disfrute, crecimiento y enriquecimiento de lxs pequeñxs. Es una persona muy cariñosa, responsable, capacitada y dedicada, a la que le apasionan lxs niñxs y se ve que disfruta mucho con este trabajo. Es la cuidadora más cualificada que hemos tenido y la recomendamos 100%.

She worked as a babysitter for us for 2 years and was the best babysitter we have ever had watch our children. When she started my children were 23 months old and 1 month old. The almost 2 year old child did not like staying with anyone other than me, his mother, she quickly changed that within two visits he was happily staying with Maialen alone. This says a lot if he did not even like staying with his grandparents alone. I believe it was because she is so engaging in a very caring way with the children. Their needs were always first. She kept their time together interesting taking them on little trips to different playgrounds around the city.
When she babysat, she was able to balance responsibility and play flawlessly. The boys loved having her over and I always felt safe leaving her with my babies. We also loved that she was very flexible and accommodating to meet our family’s needs.
She left us when she got full time work at a kindergarten. We were all sad to lose her as a babysitter but knew how lucky the kids at the kindergarten were for getting to have her as a caretaker every day.
She has left a lasting impression on my children who still sometimes 3 years later still talk about her. I would highly recommend her for this position.

We have gotten to know Maialen over the last five years while our two children attended International House for Kids in Munich, where Maialen worked as a teacher. Before Maialen joined the International House for Kids, we also had the pleasure of her taking care of our children as an occasional babysitter or helping with their birthday parties.
At every occasion and in every setting, Maialen exceeded our expectations as a teacher. She is truly the ultimate teacher – capable, creative, dedicated, and passionate.
In our view, Maialen’s biggest strength is her tremendous energy and positive spirit. When many teachers would be exhausted or frustrated, she always finds a positive way to handle whatever issues arose. Our daughter Nora (6) told us, “Maialen never gets mad”. Her energy and attitude were always evident. Even when we picked the children up after a long day, she was still smiling and engaged with them. Our son Adam (9) wanted to say, “We always have a lot of fun with Maialen”.
But Maialen is not just fun – she is extremely dependable and careful with the children. We always knew that our children are safe and well taken care of with Maialen. We trusted Maialen’s judgement when interacting with them, both as a babysitter and a teacher.
Over the years, we saw Maialen adapt and excel as a teacher under so many different circumstances. We saw Maialen successfully teach large and small groups of children, and always able to handle whatever situation came up. We also saw her work and interact with children as young as a few months old babies, and as old as our 9 year old son. Children of all ages are always comfortable with Maialen, but also respect her as a figure of authority. Finally, we saw Maialen work with children in English, Spanish, and German – without missing a beat.
We are completely confident that Maialen will bring experience, passion, and joy to your institution. We are sure that other parents will have the same happy memories of the time she spent with their children.

Maia and I worked together for 2 years as co-English teachers in the same group at the International House for Kids in Munich, Germany. Those two years were the best experience I’ve had so far in my teaching career and a vast majority of this had to do with Maia’s work ethic, willingness to help her fellow colleagues, and her undenieable positive attitude that made our overall work environment exceptional.
As a new employee, Maia saw that I was understandably nervous to make the right impressions and show what I could bring to our classroom. She was the first person to extend a helping hand to show me how things were done, advising me on the various and important aspects of care for our preschool group and always willing to answer any questions I had without judgment. It was also very refreshing that she could give constructive critisism and words of encouragement when it was needed most for myself and our fellow colleagues. Maia was dedicated and ambitious in learning new teaching techniques and never saw a challenge she didn’t want to take on, making her can-do attitude so contagious that all of the preschool teachers wanted to try harder and improve our teaching skills as well.
Additionally, Maia’s attention to detail and the love she openly showed to the kids in our group was incredible. She displayed immense patience with each and every child and communicated with them in ways so that they could understand, trust and love her in return. Maia always encouraged the children to participate in age-appropriate sports or obstacle courses with a focus on strengthening not only their gross motor skills, but to also build confidence in them that they might not have known was there before. This was truly inspriring to see. I can personally say, as a witness, that there was not one child in our two years of working together that did not benefit from having Maia as their teacher.
In closing, I beieve Maia’s confidence, sincerity, intelligence and empathy would be an exceptional addition to your school. She doesn’t know how to bring anything less than 100% of herself to any task in front of her, trusting her own instincts while being open to newer concepts and ideas as well. Maia’s bright smile and ever postitive attitude would bring nothing but the best to your organization, staff, children, and parents alike.

I am Carolin Brinckmann, the mum of Maximilian. We got to know Maialen Ezkerra in November 2017 when Maximilian was eleven months old and started with childcare at the International House for Kids (“IHFK”) in Munich, Germany. Maialen was one of four teachers in Maxis group at that time. After Maximilian left the IHFK in August 2019 to go to a kindergarten closer to where we lived, Maialen started as a babysitter for us, looking after Maximilian every few weeks.
When we first met, I was immediately absolutely impressed by her. From the way in which Maialen interacts with children, it is clear that she loves what she does and puts her whole heart into it. She provides this positive, happy and protecting environment for kids, is absolutely trustful and is doing an outstanding job as a teacher and babysitter. I could not recommend anyone better for a job as a teacher or babysitter than her!

I am Floriana Busacca, mother of two kids (Sara – 7 years-old and Gabriel 4 years-old) and I’m more than happy to write this reference letter for Maia.
She has been the nursery teacher of our youngest son Gabriel for 3 years and at the same time she has occasionally been the babysitter for both our kids.
She has been an absolute joy to be with, Gabriel loved her since day one in the nursery.
Maia is patient, kind and nurturing toward the children. Her energy is refreshing and her enthusiasm contagious. She thought of creative ways to bring learning experiences into the children’s playtime. She is highly professional and easily recognizes children’s special needs, both academic and emotional.
Although being very sweet and cuddling with the children, she was able to keep the class organized and the kids under control: they would love and respect her at the same time.
Gabriel was so much in love with Maya, that we also decided to ask her to babysit both our kids.
I had no doubts that she would do a great job at our place as well, I never felt bad or worried of leaving her at home with our kids.
It is often difficult to find a babysitter who the kids love, but who is also trustworthy and responsible. We found a perfect balance with Maia. My children loved playing with her, but they also respected her and always followed her instructions, even at bedtime.
We cannot recommend and thank her enough for the nice time she has spent with our kids.
We will miss her here in Munich.

Maialen Ezkerra and I taught English together at the International House for Kids in Munich, Germany. My time teaching alongside Maia was incredible as Maia is a model teacher and a wonderful co-worker.
My first impression of Maia was that she was the ideal teacher. She was not only beautiful and well put-together, but she had and still has one of the kindest smiles I have ever seen. After seeing her teach, I can relay with utmost sincerity that she exhibits all qualities a teacher for young children should have, that is: patience, kindness, a loving nature, a positive attitude, empathy, adaptability, and a genuine interest in children’s development. Because of this, she is a teacher that I look up to as a role model.
Moreover, upon working with Maia, I quickly discovered that Maia is not only an incredible teacher, but she is also a dedicated co-worker. Maia is always willing to help out, take on extra duties if necessary, and approaches all tasks with a can-do, positive attitude. Importantly, she is compassionate and understanding, which created a positive work environment. Moreover, she is an effective communicator, which proved absolutely essential in working with multiple teachers. As an important side-note, Maia is always looking to improve her teaching skills. She is open to, searches for, and welcomes growth opportunities, treating all trainings and advice with high regard. With this desire to consistently improve her teaching skills, she would make a wonderful addition to any school.
Overall, I cannot recommend Maia enough to join your organization. She is competent, confident, organized, intelligent, flexible, and always helpful. She communicates with patience and sincerity to children and co-workers alike, contributing to her honest, genuine nature. Seit mehr als 1,5 Jahren arbeite ich nun mit Maialen im International House for Kids geimeinsam in einer Gruppe. Bereits bei meiner Einarbeitung hat sie mich herzlich aufgenommen und ist stets geduldig geblieben. Im Umgang mit den Kindern ist sie immer engagiert, sie hat viele Ideen und weiß die Kinder mit Geschichten oder Spielen zu begeistern. Gefühlvoll achtet sie auf die Bedürfnisse der Kinder und handelt dementsprechend.
Als Kollegin hatte sie immer ein offenes Ohr, auch für private Belange. Sie ist sehr zuverlässig, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam.
